Clear scope.
Clear expectations.

Draft service terms for review. These pages do not accept orders or payments. A contract begins only when a written order identifies the legal supplier, contact details, agreed scope, total price and start date, and both parties accept it.

1. The service and written order

Lara Rose Digital is the trading brand used on this website. The legal supplier’s name, business correspondence address, contact email and any applicable company or VAT details must be provided in the written order before a contract is entered into. These details are still awaiting confirmation for the public website.

The written order and these terms together describe the service. Any variation, additional feature or separate fee must be agreed in writing. A portfolio example is not a promise that every feature shown is included in your package.

2. Packages, editing access and price

Starter includes up to five standard brochure pages, responsive design, hosting, SSL, routine technical maintenance, basic on-page SEO setup and one small content-update request each calendar month, limited to 30 minutes. Unused update time does not carry forward. Two consolidated rounds of design revisions within the agreed brief are included before launch.

Business costs £59/month for a 12-month minimum (£708), with up to ten pages, blog setup, page text/image editing, one standard connection to an existing booking service and up to 60 minutes of monthly small updates. Online Shop costs £99/month for an 18-month minimum (£1,782), with five information pages plus shop pages, 20 standard products uploaded, standard checkout and UK delivery setup, product/order admin, guided handover and up to 60 minutes of monthly support and small updates. Starter costs £35/month for 12 months (£420). Each package includes two revision rounds, hosting, SSL, routine technical maintenance and basic SEO. No separate setup fee applies. Prices include any applicable tax. The written order confirms billing dates and the payment method. The current preview collects no payment.

Domains, email mailboxes, paid apps, premium assets, copywriting, extensive edits and ongoing SEO campaigns are excluded. Ecommerce is included only in Online Shop within its defined scope. Booking connections use a supported link/embed from an existing provider; custom booking engines and API integrations are separate. Third-party booking subscription charges are not included. Self-service access does not include unrestricted plugin installation or redesign.

3. Content, revisions and delivery

You provide accurate, lawful text, images, business information and the access needed for the project. You must hold the rights to material you supply. You remain responsible for your business claims, product information, legal policies and regulatory obligations.

We agree a realistic delivery schedule after receiving the necessary content and access. Our indicative launch windows are 5–7 working days for Starter, 7–10 for Business and 10–15 for Online Shop, after complete content is received and the project start date is confirmed. These are estimates, not guaranteed deadlines; the schedule is agreed before payment. Delays in supplying materials, feedback or third-party account approvals can affect the launch date. Changes to an approved brief may require a revised quote and schedule, which must be accepted before the extra work starts.

You will have an opportunity to review the completed pages and identify defects before launch. Approval does not remove rights relating to work that fails to meet the agreed specification or applicable law.

4. Hosting and care

Hosting and technical care are supplied while the plan is active and paid. Routine maintenance is not a redesign, an unlimited-edit service or a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance and third-party outages may occur; no specific uptime or response-time service level is promised unless agreed separately.

Tell us about faults through the contact route in your written order. We will investigate reported faults within the agreed scope and discuss any work outside it before charging. No third-party subscription or optional extra will be added without agreement.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation

The initial minimum term from the agreed billing start date is 12 months for Starter and Business, or 18 months for Online Shop. After that, hosting and care continue monthly at the agreed rate without a new fixed minimum term. Give at least 30 days’ written notice using the contact email in the order to end the plan at or after the initial term. Cancellation will be acknowledged in writing.

If you wish to leave during the initial term, contact us to agree the position. Any early-termination amount must be lawful and reflect the contract and relevant costs saved; these terms do not create an automatic penalty or remove statutory cancellation or remedy rights.

If a payment is missed, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before suspending service. Material breaches by either party should be notified in writing with a reasonable opportunity to remedy them where possible. Any price change after the initial term requires at least 30 days’ notice and an opportunity to cancel before it takes effect.

6. Domains, files and handover

Your domain and the materials you supply remain yours. Register the domain in your own account wherever possible. During the initial term you receive the right to use the agreed website while payments are up to date.

Once the initial minimum term and agreed invoices are fully paid, ownership of the bespoke final website deliverables transfers to you, subject to third-party and open-source licences. General tools, reusable components and pre-existing materials remain with their owners, with the licences needed to use the delivered site.

A standard export of available bespoke site files is included on request after the initial term is paid. Third-party platforms may limit what can be exported. Work to deploy the site elsewhere or replace licensed services is quoted separately. On cancellation, agree a handover date before hosting ends and keep your own copy of the export.

7. Ecommerce and external services

Online Shop covers a standard single-currency shop and straightforward UK delivery, with the agreed shop software and hosting included. Its written scope identifies the platform, payment provider, delivery/tax settings and handover. Merchant processing fees are charged separately by the provider. Paid apps or a change to a separately subscribed platform require advance agreement. Complex variants, subscriptions, international rules and custom integrations are separately quoted.

You own and operate the store and merchant accounts and are responsible for products, fulfilment, customer service, returns and the legality of sales. Product and order management access is included. You may add/edit products yourself without a per-product service fee, within the agreed hosting/platform capacity. We upload the first 20 standard products. Optional packs cost £50 once for 10 extra or £100 once for 25 extra, using your ready-to-use descriptions, prices and images. A standard product has one price and stock record. Variants and migration are separately scoped. Packs are separate from monthly support and the same work is not charged twice. Third-party providers have their own terms.

8. Search results, examples and marketing

SEO setup does not guarantee rankings, traffic, sales, enquiries or inclusion in Google, Bing, Maps or AI-generated answers. Ongoing marketing and backlink outreach require their own agreed scope. No compulsory backlink to Lara Rose Digital is a condition of the service.

Portfolio mockups are fictional concepts unless expressly described otherwise. We will obtain agreement before publishing your confidential project information or using your work as a client case study.

9. Personal information and confidentiality

Both parties must handle confidential information responsibly and use access credentials only for the agreed work. Where we process visitor or customer personal data on your behalf, appropriate written data-processing terms must be agreed before that processing begins. The current preview form prepares a local brief. You can choose to send it to hello@lararosedigital.com through your own email app; the website does not send it automatically.

10. Consumer rights, complaints and applicable law

The advertised package is intended for business use. If you contract as a consumer, your statutory rights still apply. For services ordered at a distance, a 14-day cancellation right generally runs from contract formation. We will provide the required cancellation information and form before acceptance. Starting work during that period requires your express request; any charge following cancellation must comply with the law. The right is not lost merely because a design is bespoke.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or applicable consumer rights. Raise complaints using the contact details in your written order so we can investigate and propose a remedy. These terms do not restrict statutory remedies or access to the courts.

English law applies, subject to mandatory protections and court rights available to consumers in their country of residence. These draft terms need the supplier details and a business-specific legal review before use for live orders.
